On October 18, for the first time in Georgia, a conference was held on the topic "Dyslexia — Existing Services and Challenges".
The conference was entirely dedicated to dyslexia.
The event was attended by neuropsychologists, psychologists, speech and language therapists, and specialists in the field of education. They discussed the services available in the field of dyslexia, real needs, and directions of development.
At the conference, the founder of the Georgian Dyslexia Research Center Dr. Maia Shashviashvili, presented a report - "Early Detection of Dyslexia and the First Georgian Assessment Tool".
The conference was organized by the Georgian Dyslexia Association and the Dyslexia Foundation.
This conference is an important step towards raising awareness, deepening professional dialogue, and strengthening inclusive education.
I sincerely thank the organizers of the Georgian Dyslexia Association and the Georgian Dyslexia Foundation, all participants, speakers, and supporters for their active involvement.
This is just the beginning!
Together we can create real changes in the direction of dyslexia!
